The National Register of Historic Places is the official list of the Nation'due south historic places worthy of preservation. Authorized by the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966, the National Park Service's National Register of Historic Places is part of a national program to coordinate and back up public and private efforts to identify, evaluate, and protect America's historic and archeological resources.

Maritime Cultural Landscape Symposium:

Nosotros are pleased to announce the availability of the Proceedings of the Maritime Culutural Mural Symposium, which was held in Madison, Wisconsin in Nov 2015. It was a collaboration between the National Park Service, NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Assistants, BOEM (Bureau of Ocean Free energy Managment), and the Wisconsin Historical Guild. Volume 1 features the papers that were presented and Volume 2 features links to the videos of the presentations.
