Well, that's a different story. That'due south an "activation" or "validation" issue and it means that Microsoft thinks that there is something wrong with your product cardinal or that your installation of Windows is otherwise not genuine.
To properly analyze and solve problems with Activation and Validation, we demand to see a full copy of the diagnostic report produced by the MGADiag tool (download and save to desktop - http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012 )
Once downloaded, run the tool.

information technology was helpful but after clicking on "copy" it would not permit any "paste" that I could discern. ???

Open a Reply window hither.
Later on you click the "Copy" button at the bottom of the report, right-click in the Reply window that you opened and select "Paste" from the popup context menu.

You may have to click the Copy button once again, just before you endeavor to Paste.
Practice you not get a popup menu with "Paste" as 1 of the options? You should see something similar to the post-obit when you right-click (you may not have all of the items shown):

after post-obit your instructions the "paste" button does not function. Nil happens when I click on "paste" nor utilise the Alt+V culling.

Information technology'south CTRL+5 ... but if "Paste" isn't working in the context menu, information technology'south not likely that CTRL+V would work either.
It actually sounds equally if y'all haven't clicked the "Re-create" button at the bottom of the Diagnostic Tool just earlier y'all try to "Paste" --
Please try the following experiments and let me know what happens. In the following "click" by itself ways click with the left mouse button. "Right-click" means click with the right mouse button.
A. Test 1
- Click Starting time, type Notepad into the Search box, and Press Enter. A new (blank) Notepad window opens
- Run the MGA Diagnostic Tool, click the "Continue" button and expect until the "Continue" button changes to "Copy"
- Click that Copy button
- Go to the Notepad window and click Edit, then click Paste from the bill of fare that opens
- Did the results of the Diagnostic Tool appear in the Notepad window?
- Close the Notepad window without saving the file
B. Test ii
- Click Start, type Notepad into the Search box, and Printing Enter. A new (blank) Notepad window opens
- Run the MGA Diagnostic Tool, click the "Go on" push and look until the "Keep" push changes to "Copy"
- Click that Copy button
- Go to the Notepad window, right-click in the blank window, and select Paste from the popup menu
- Did the results of the Diagnostic Tool appear in the Notepad window?
- Shut the Notepad window without saving the file
C. Exam 3
- Click Outset, type Notepad into the Search box, and Printing Enter. A new (blank) Notepad window opens
- Blazon some random characters into the Notepad window.
- Click and drag over the text you lot only typed so that it is selected (turns blueish)
- Right-click and select Re-create
- Press Enter a few times to insert some blank lines and and then right-click and select Paste
- Did the text get copied and pasted after the new lines?
If none of those test resulted in text existence pasted, then the probable problem is that there is some plan that has the "clipboard" locked. Reboot the figurer and repeat either Test i or Test 2 above, but do not do pace 6. If the issue this time was that the results of the Diagnostic Tool did appear in the Notepad window, then
